Based on "Athene", I had to replace the charoite with a Swarovski navette - it didn't make the geometrics any
easier though. A note about my clasps and fasteners - when I beaded around my first cabochon I was really pleased
with myself, until an experienced beader friend told me it was spoiled by the pathetic toggle & loop I had made.
I looked at a lot of work on the internet which, from the front, was stunning, and sure enough the fastening had
been an afterthought! That's when I decided my clasps would reflect the work in the main piece - it also looks
striking with the hair up!
