time. It is a Japanese pastime, and I used to go to a fireworks festival on a nearby harbor with my parents. Though
this neckpiece is to celebrate the warm and happy feelings associated with fireworks, I wanted to use colors that
were unique and not ordinarily observed in firework displays. The piece uses the bead weaving technique and netting.
