Then we wandered into the studio of Zoya Gutina and my jaw dropped to the floor and I babbled because I couldn’t find the words to describe how incredible her work is. She is a bead artist. The most gorgeous, amazing, intricate work I’ve ever seen. Just freakin’ amazing. She was sitting there beading away - the tiniest beads I’ve ever seen. Part of the piece was made and she was working without a drawing or diagram…the beauty was all in her head I guess.
